Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) has recognized JPL with its Corporate Impact Award, presented at the university’s annual gala on April 25. The impact award acknowledges organizations that have made meaningful contributions to the university and its students.
JPL has worked alongside Harrisburg University since its founding, supporting a range of initiatives including brand and enrollment marketing, website development, campus exhibit design, and the production of video content and events.

In 2023, JPL and its subsidiary, d’Vinci Interactive, expanded that relationship by establishing the JPL Scholars Program. The program currently supports two students in the university’s undergraduate interactive media program, Scott Stephens and Temiah Dixon. As part of the program, they worked with JPL to produce videos highlighting this year’s Impact Award recipients, which were shown at the gala (view JPL’s award video below). The students attended the event with JPL and were recognized for their work by the gala attendees.
Being a JPL Scholar through the HU program has enabled me to follow my dreams. Having access to JPL and seeing that work up close has really expanded my view of what’s possible.

The partnership also includes the JPL/d’Vinci Media Center at Harrisburg University, a dedicated space where students collaborate on creative projects and develop technical skills. In addition, JPL team members regularly participate in classroom instruction, host student tours and job-shadowing opportunities, and work with faculty and students on collaborative initiatives and internships.

We often get the opportunity to develop innovative projects collaborating with Harrisburg University and its students. The insights we gain from the collaboration can often apply to how we serve our other higher education clients nationwide.

The Harrisburg University Gala is the institution’s primary fundraising event, bringing together supporters, partners and community leaders to highlight the role of education in workforce development and to raise scholarship support for students.
Harrisburg University has become a key contributor to Central Pennsylvania’s economic and talent pipeline, preparing students for careers in science, technology and related fields. Partnerships with organizations such as JPL help connect academic learning with real-world application, supporting both student success and regional growth.
