Insights show that consumers use primarily in-aisle, but the site was difficult to navigate on mobile. A mobile-first redesign presented the opportunity to also amplify Hefty’s sustainability story and expand trust in the brand.


JPL redesigned to be an interactive mobile tool for shoppers. Product lines are prominently featured on the homepage and click into efficient product detail pages. Bright imagery and video present a strong brand story and raise the prominence of product benefits. A new Trash Bag Selector takes the guesswork out of choosing the right product. The Hefty sustainability story is front and center with interactive tools that help qualifying consumers participate in the Hefty® EnergyBag® Program.
