This summer, JPL interns collaborated with The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region (TSA Harrisburg) to create a compelling video series designed for Meta social media platforms. The campaign aims to showcase how volunteers can make an impact in their community and raise awareness of the array of programs offered by TSA Harrisburg.
Ethan Ijumba (Millersville University), Mikayla Isbell (Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania) and Drew Shiley (University of Delaware) worked with JPL team members to develop, shoot and edit a series of short-form videos for TSA Harrisburg’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The JPL interns exceeded every expectation. Each video in the series brings attention to several programs provided by TSA Harrisburg, including basic needs assistance, budgeting and financial mentoring, a community garden, a food pantry, nutrition education and youth engagement initiatives. Each program is a staple to the organization’s commitment to assisting individuals and families through accessible, compassionate support by “Doing The Most Good.”
